The premium event refers to setups that require multiple microphones. All multi microphones events are recorded in a multitrack format and brought back to the studio for a full post production job. This includes any remixing/rebalancing that is necessary, editing, and mastering. |

These sessions are for demo tapes, auditions, and CD projects (large or small). Multitrack recording sessions at some full service recording studios are also available, but they will incur additional fees, It costs a liand Mastering: 100$ |

Editing and Mastering of your event or recording session is available. Work is done on computer based digital audio workstations. We have the capability to handle just about any format from 16 bit DAT, cassette, 2-channel ¼ inch analog (DBX noise reduction, Dolby A and SR), and others. Please note, because of the proliferation of audio formats, rentals of playback gear may be required. If this is the case, additional costs will be incurred. Please contact us for details. |

Do you have a project that was recorded by somebody else that you need it mixed? We are capable of mixing your tracks. In our studio, we use the Sequoia Workstation software for doing fully automated mixes. We are currently equipped with plugins by TC Electronics, Sony, Waves, Magix and others. We can accept projects started in just about any format, bit rate and sample rate from Pro Tools and Digital Performer to Sonic Solutions, and others. |
|
Multi Track Projects:
It is possible to bring in a variety of multi-track recorders for events and recording sessions. 3rd Ear Group usually records any performance on to a high-end Digital Audio Workstation in a multitrack format. For larger projects (over 16 tracks needed), stand-alone systems can be brought in. |
|
Audio Restoration:
At 3rd Ear Group, we have extensive experience with restoration of old recordings. If you have a cassette, reel to reel, or a similar old recording, we can remove noise (hiss) and other distractions from the sound. Please note, while we can clean up much of the garbage in the sound, CDs do reveal the limitations of the master tape. Projects will be priced on an individual basis, however hourly rates start at 50$/hour. |
